Turkish drone shot down in northern Mali: What the images show us

In April 2025, The France 24 Observers posted an article analysing the wreckage of a Turkish-made drone shot down over the border between Algeria and Mali between 31 March and 1 April 2025.

In presenting their analysis of unexploded munitions found at the scene of the crash, the journalists used imagery from the OSMP of Turkish MAM-L air-delivered bombs in Ukraine to confirm that munitions of the same type were present at the crash site in the Algeria–Mali border region.
